Are you a passionate engineer who thrives on building scalable, high-performance software - and loves rolling up your sleeves to lead by example?

I am working with a truly innovative business who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team in Birmingham. This role is a chance to own the technical delivery of their SaaS platform, while staying close to the code and mentoring others through hands-on leadership.

What you'll be doing:

Build & Optimise: Develop high-performance APIs and responsive web apps using modern frameworks.
Mobile Integration: Help bring key features to life in mobile apps (React Native).
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product, UX/UI, and backend engineers to deliver seamless experiences.
Monitor & Improve: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Innovate: Explore emerging tech (including AI) and integrate customer feedback to evolve our quoting process.

Tech you'll be working with:

Frontend: Next.js, React (Native), Typescript
Backend: PostgreSQL, Vercel
DevOps: CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitHub
AI/LLM: Integrating intelligent tooling to enhance automation and UXWhat they are looking for:
