The Role
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Ops team and help build high-quality, scalable infrastructure and automation. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving complex technical challenges and want to grow your skills while working on impactful projects, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, reliable and secure infrastructure in AWS
  • Improve system stability and IT automation across our environments
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to resolve incidents efficiently and ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support our ongoing migration from Hybrid/Private Cloud to AWS
  • Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling to ensure fast and reliable deployments
  • Build and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications
  • Explore and implement innovative DevOps practices to optimise our infrastructure and workflows
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and occasionally mentor junior engineers
    Requirements
    Essential:
  • Strong hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
  • Excellent understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS (including EKS and serverless services)
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Solid knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or Jenkins
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or another development language
  • Good understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
    Desirable:
  • AWS certification
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows and service mesh architectures
  • Exposure to cost optimisation and architecture planning in cloud infrastructure
