A growing software company in Fareham, who've developed a suite of tools and applications, are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join their Web Development team.

Their applications are developed using PHP, nginx, RabbitMQ, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and they use custom-built frameworks which you'll be fully trained in. Your role will focus on developing and improving their current software systems, problem-solving, and advocating for best practice.

Requirements

Ideally over 5 years' experience with PHP
Experience with cloud infrastructure - GCP would be highly beneficial
Experience with various data sources - MySQL, NoSQL, etc.
Use of TDD in workflow
Good debugging and analytical skills
Use of Code Profiling tools to optimise code performance
Experience with Kubernetes would be beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skills / ability to liaise with different teamsBenefits

Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
Performance-based bonus up to 10%
Pension scheme with matched contributions up to 5%
Health and dental after one year of service
