The Role:

As the scrum master you will be working in a team, dealing with business demands, help coordinate products specifications and able to resolve potential issues.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that project goals, issue scope, and product domains are understood by everyone on the team.

Remove blockers to team progress and proactively help the team navigate how to make improvements to avoid similar blockers in the future.

Implement Agile and Scrum best practices throughout all teams.

Help coordinate product specifications, sprints, meetings, sprint demos, stand-ups and retrospectives.

Track project progress and resolve potential issues the team could be dealing with.

Offer coaching and mentoring of Agile and Scrum values and best practices.

Use reliable sources to estimate how many deliverables are needed for each iteration.

Help employees write effective user stories and turn them into subtasks.

Coordinate processes and the product’s release together with other departments.

Help the product owner prepare the product backlog for upcoming sprints.

Actively monitor and fix impediments to make sure the product and its features are delivered within scope, time, budget, and expected quality guidelines.

Document all progress and communicate it to the upper management and stakeholders.

Work with Test Lead to ensure all user stories have appropriate tests assigned

produce sprint reports, such as burn down chart burn up chart, velocity etc

Skills & Experience:

Agile & Scrum Mastery: sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management, stand-ups, retrospectives, SAFE

Project Leadership: goal alignment, scope management, risk/issue resolution, cross-functional coordination

Team Facilitation & Coaching: mentoring Agile values, servant leadership, conflict resolution, removing blockers

Communication & Collaboration: clear reporting to stakeholders, documentation, active listening, negotiation

Technical Proficiency: Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, MS Office, Google Workspace, QA/test alignment

Analytical & Reporting: velocity tracking, burn-down/up charts, progress dashboards, estimation of deliverables

Adaptability & Problem-Solving: navigating changing requirements, improving processes, continuous improvement

Industry Knowledge: software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, quality assurance collaboration
