SC Cleared DevOps Engineer | AWS | Terraform | CI/CD | Public Sector | Contract
Cloud Infrastructure | Configuration Management | Containers | Automation | Security Cleared

SR2 is working with a consultancy partner on a new public sector engagement and looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to join the team.
You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines, working within a highly regulated environment to deliver reliable and resilient services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across core services
Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, secure deployments
Configure and manage infrastructure with Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools
Work with Docker, ECS, and EKS to deliver containerised workloads
Script and automate operational tasks (Python, Bash, or similar)
Ensure services meet security, compliance, and performance requirements in public sector contextsSkill/Experience

Strong, hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience
Proven track record with Terraform and other IaC tooling
Skilled in CI/CD pipeline design and optimisation
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Strong scripting ability for automation and troubleshooting
Practical experience with containerisation (Docker, ECS, EKS)
Background in secure or public sector environments, ideally with active clearance
SC Cleared - NPPV3 Clearance would be a bonus. The Details:
