My Yorkshire based client is looking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager with a demonstrable track record managing software or data engineering deliverables.
The Programme Manager will take responsibility for the co-ordination, control and successful delivery of projects within the portfolio – primarily within the technical software and data arena, however elements of business change will be included.
Managing a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects and technical SME’s, the Programme Manager will ensure overall technical delivery of projects within the programme in line with business benefit.
Working within an Agile led environment, the Programme Manager will :

Bridge the gap between technical delivery and business owners
Ensure overall integrity of a defined programme of work
Ensure the programme is delivered to time, scope and budget
Provide mentoring and coaching expertise , ensuring appropriate resource allocation
Manage reporting and communication
Create, maintain and escalate against programme / portfolio RAID logs
Define and maintain best practice governance  
As Programme Manager, you will be able to demonstrate the following :

Extensive experience working in a senior technical delivery capacity in a regulated environment
Proven expertise of successful delivery at pace leveraging teams successfully
Matrix management of Project Managers and key project support roles including Architecture and Dev Managers
Ability to plan at Programme level
Ability to manage resource scheduling
Good working knowledge of MSP / Jira, Agile and DevOps practices.
Practical experience across Project and Software Development Lifecycles
