We’re looking for a hands-on Principal Cloud Engineer to join a fast-growing technology business as they scale their AWS and Azure services. This is a senior technical role, reporting to the CTO, where you’ll combine deep engineering expertise with leadership—designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions while shaping the future direction of the cloud practice.

What you’ll be doing

Leading the design, build, and optimisation of AWS (and Azure) environments.

Driving migrations of complex Windows workloads into modern cloud platforms.

Building CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation strategies.

Acting as SME across pre-sales, technical design, and client engagements.

Supporting proof-of-concepts in AI/ML and generative AI.

Mentoring engineers and embedding cloud best practice across teams.

What we’re looking for

Proven AWS expertise (Professional-level certifications desirable).

Strong background in migrations, cloud landing zones, Terraform IaC, GitOps.

Experience with hybrid/on-prem integration (VMware, networking, storage).

Solid knowledge of Windows in cloud environments (e.g. Workspaces, monitoring, security).

Track record of delivering large, complex cloud projects.

Exposure to Azure and AI/ML is a strong advantage.
