Network Engineer - Must have a Valid DV Clearance

The Role

As a Network Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in the design, deployment, and support of robust network solutions. Working alongside experts in security, service, and project management, you'll take ownership of installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements across varied infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support throughout project deployment cycles, including installation, maintenance, and complex issue resolution.

Work on the implementation of medium to large-scale infrastructure, within time and risk parameters.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical requirements in line with customer expectations.

Identify and execute improvements to meet service level targets and operational performance benchmarks.

Take initiative in problem-solving-diagnosing and resolving network issues independently and in cooperation with vendors when needed.

Remain current on emerging technologies and methodologies, promoting innovation and efficiency within the team.

Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrable experience independently implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching from design specs.

Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and managing costs within your own scope.

Ability to troubleshoot and provide timely fixes or workarounds.

Expertise in at least two of the following technologies/disciplines, and proficiency in at least two more:

Junos

Cisco IOS

IPS/IDS - Firepower, SRX or FortiGate

Cisco ISE

NSX-T

Load balancing - F5 or Citrix

Cloud networking - AWS or Azure

Network automation

Ansible

Python

Visual Basic

Terraform

Golden candidates will bring strong Juniper and NSX expertise.

Solid Cisco build experience and a hands-on delivery background will also be considered.
