MongoDB Engineer

Permanent / Hybrid working - 2 days a week on site in Knutsford, Cheshire

Salary up to £64,500 - No Sponsorship available

We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced MongoDB Engineers to join a leading Financial Services business in Cheshire.

Candidates must be skilled in building MongoDB Systems and Ansible Towers.

NOTE - Client is willing to consider candidates with good Ansible and Automation experience who can cross train in to MongoDB.

In these roles you will monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimizing disruption to operations.

Also applying software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response, to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through them.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Expertise in Ansible for database server configurations
Expertise in DevOps Automation tools such as git, JIRA and database CI/CD tools
A good working knowledge of leading SRE practices across large organisation or complex teams
A working knowledge of MongoDB
Hands on experience of Containers and Kubernetes along with experience of scripting languages (e.g. python, bash) for automation / migration tasks would be nice to haveGCS is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
