We are currently hiring a MHE Operative to come and join our friendly and growing team as a full time MHE Warehouse Operative in West Hallam, DE7 6HE.

You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits!

Your pay rate and shifts as a full time Warehouse Operative:

You will be paid £13.21- £13.71 per hour
You will be working Monday to Friday, two shifts available - Day shift from 08:00 until 16:30 (£13.21) - Afternoon shift from 13:30 until 22:00 (£13.71)
Total of 40 hours a week
Overtime only applies after 40 hoursThe successfully candidate would be required to start as a normal warehouse associate at Rate £12.67p/h until they complete their onsite Safety and competency assessment by the client and only after passing the assessment would they then be qualified to start the MHE role and be paid at the MHE payrate, failing the assessment results in the placement being withdrawn.

Duties as a Warehouse Operative:

Operating counterbalance or Reach truck
Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
Using a handheld scanner to sort items
Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
Unloading containers Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standardsSome of the benefits you will gain while working as a Warehouse Operative:

Get up to 33 paid holiday days per year (pro-rata)Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

Must hold a current Valid Reach licence and counterbalance licence
General labouring duties as a warehouse operative
Good level of communication
Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standardsRequirements:

PPE is required, but we can provide this
Reach truck licence
