Do you want a role where you can lead, design and inspire, while working on projects that make a real impact?

This leading Financial Services brand is seeking someone highly skilled in Mendix, an A-player, who can work with the business to turn business requirements into robust Mendix solutions.   

In this challenging role, you will use your skills to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. 

You will join a growing Mendix team that is already supporting thousands of internal users and external customers.  The team have built a wide portfolio of solutions, with projects ranging from significant digital transformation initiatives to innovative cloud-based mobile apps, so there will be no shortage of varied and interesting projects to stretch your skills.

Day-to-day
In this role, you’ll be the technical authority, guiding stakeholders and development teams from concept to deployment – ensuring best practice, performance, and security every step of the way.

You will:

Own and define the architecture of Mendix solutions – from design patterns to integrations
Translate business needs into robust, scalable Mendix applications
Mentor developers, review code, and champion quality
Integrate Mendix with enterprise platforms (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics) via REST, SOAP or other APIs
Define CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies with the DevOps teams
Stay ahead of Mendix platform updates and low-code trends and champion innovation
What we’re looking for:

To be considered you will be a passionate, hands-on Mendix SME with good leadership skills.  You must possess the following:

Mendix Advanced Certification (Expert Certification is a huge plus!)
Proven track record as a Mendix Architect or Senior/Principal Developer
Strong understanding of Mendix development, architecture components, and the MDD approach.
Experience integrating Mendix with enterprise systems
Strong grasp of performance, security, and cloud deployment (Mendix Cloud, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
Confident communicator and mentor with a passion for guiding teams and for digital transformationExperience within the financial services or insurance sector would also be advantageous, but is not essential.

This is a hybrid role that offers lots of flexibility to work remotely. This company can also offer flexible working hours and a range of other benefits to ensure a strong work/life balance.

A fantastic package is on offer with a competitive salary of £80k-£85k, plus an annual bonus of up to 9%, and a generous 12% non-contributory pension. Other perks include private medical, life insurance, gadget discounts and subsided gym as well as 25 days holiday.
