Hours of work: 37.5 hours/week –

Weekly Rotating Shift Pattern:

Week 1 - Monday – Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm

Week 2 - Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm

Week 3 - Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

The job role

We are currently seeking a Loader to join our busy team at our European Milling Centre in Par. This is a hands-on, full-site-based role in an industrial setting located on the docks.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods out of the site — a critical role in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to move and load goods

  • Load lorries and shipping containers

  • Discharge powders from bulk tanks into tankers

  • Use RF scanners to manage and track stock

  • Follow health and safety protocols in all operations

  • Work both indoors and outdoors across designated loading stations

  • Collaborate closely with a small team of Loaders and report to the Senior Captain

You will have:

* Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

* Experience in an industrial environment preferred

* A full UK driving licence (or equivalent)

* Counterbalance forklift training (nationally accredited ideally)

* Ability to follow set procedures and work within safe operating methods

* Strong communication and basic numeracy skills
