Lead App Support DevOps Engineer

Our consulting client is looking to expand their team with a Lead Application Support DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Security Clearance (SC) is required for this position.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a small team of application support engineers, ensuring effective support and maintenance of applications.
  • Leverage Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, and Terraform for application development and management.
  • Implement and maintain ITIL processes to enhance service delivery and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within a large organisation to ensure seamless service management.
  • Manage applications within Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Have experience inan Agile environment, actively contributing to team efforts and processes.
  • Utilise tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps as needed.
     
    Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in leading a team of application support engineers.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL processes, with certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft .Net, Ansible, and Terraform is advantageous.
  • Experience in application management within Azure environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile team setting.
  • Experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps is a plus.
