Software Architect - Cloud Engineering | London/Burgess Hill | Hybrid

Join my banking sector client as a Software Architect and help us build a secure, compliant, and developer-friendly public cloud platform. You'll lead the design of cloud-native architectures, develop infrastructure tooling in Golang, and empower developers to provision and manage cloud resources with speed and ease.

What You'll Do

Design reusable reference architectures for AWS

Build and maintain Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)

Enable fast, compliant infra provisioning and decommissioning

Guide engineers and advocate for developer experience

Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions

What You Bring

6+ years in software/cloud architecture

Strong Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker experience

Passion for automation, clean code, and end-user documentation

Experience mentoring and leading by example

Familiarity with Agile (Scrum), TDD, Terraform, OPA/Sentinel
