    Are you an experienced IT Administrator or Systems Engineer looking for a role where you’ll support a wide range of technologies — from laptops and local networks to VMware and cloud infrastructure? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally connected software development company, where your work will support critical engineering and R&D applications used in mobility and test automation environments.
    The business develops industry-leading automation and data management software, used by customers globally in automotive and scientific sectors. The core development team is UK-based but works closely with international colleagues in a flexible, agile environment.
    Your background as an IT Administrator:
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server administration (on-prem and in-cloud).
  • Hands-on support of laptops and desktops (Windows OS).
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with VMware virtualisation platforms.
  • Strong networking knowledge – routing, VPNs, firewalls, switches.
  • Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Awareness of cloud infrastructure (Azure or similar), Infrastructure-as-Code, or Kubernetes is a bonus.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
    IT Administrator responsibilities:
  • Provide desktop/laptop hardware and software support to internal users.
  • Maintain Windows and Linux servers across hybrid environments.
  • Support and manage virtual infrastructure using VMware.
  • Administer local area networks, firewalls, and connectivity.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services and collaborate on user access control.
  • Provide input on cloud infrastructure projects and engineering tools.
  • Contribute to IT security and system resilience improvements.
  • Participate in occasional out-of-hours support or on-site tasks as needed.
