Job Title: IAM Engineer - IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM)
Location: Northampton
Salary/Rate: £430 per day inside IR35
Start Date:07/07/2025
Job Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

Design and implement identity solutions using IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM), focusing on provisioning and RBAC.
Develop and maintain Java-based connectors, workflows, and business logic to extend IAM capabilities.
Integrate IAM systems with enterprise applications, databases, and directory services.
Ensure IAM security practices meet regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Troubleshoot issues and optimise system performance across the IAM environment.
Collaborate with teams across security, infrastructure, and development to deliver effective IAM solutions.
Required Skills/Experience:

Proven experience with enterprise IAM tools such as IBM Security Identity Manager, Ping Identity, or Microsoft Identity Manager.
Proficiency in Java development and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Understanding of IAM protocols and standards (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Experience managing user provisioning, role-based access, and access reviews in complex environments.
Desirable Skills/Experience:

Hands-on experience with ISIM workflows, connectors, and reporting features.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, aPaaS) and IAM cloud deployments.
Exposure to DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
