  • Continue the evolution of our AWS-based microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Partner closely with Product Management to ensure delivery predictability and stakeholder alignment
  • Develop and mentor engineering managers and technical leads, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders in Marketing, Data, Sales and Customer Service to translate business needs into technology outcomes
  • Champion agile best practices and metrics-driven delivery, ensuring commitments are met with transparency and discipline
  • Ensure effective operational processes for QA, DevOps, release management and post-go-live support
  • Act as a senior voice in the technology leadership team, contributing to long-term strategy and planning
    Requirements
  • Proven experience leading engineering organisations of 50+ people in a fast-paced, sales led business
  • Strong track record of delivering technology at scale within an Agile framework
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures (ideally AWS) and experience with microservices and event-driven systems
  • Background in at least one of our core technologies: PHP, Go or JavaScript (Next.js)
  • Experience managing diverse teams across engineering, QA, DevOps and platform functions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence and collaborate across executive and commercial teams
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a pragmatic approach to balancing speed and quality
  • Comfortable working in a lean, high-accountability environment where priorities evolve quickly
    Benefits
We are actively committed to promoting a fully diverse and inclusive workforce and we welcome applications for this role from all candidates who meet the key requirements.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you require any reasonable adjustments to assist with your application
