Cloud DevOps Engineer - West Cardiff/Hybrid - £49,000 per annum

I am seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead the delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure environments and CI/CD automation. This is a key role in a growing organisation, presenting the opportunity to have real influence across the business, working across Infrastructure and Software Development teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

As Cloud DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines. You'll play a central role in defining the DevOps strategy, managing Azure environments, and ensuring performance, security, and cost control. You'll also help shape the client's organisational capability by mentoring colleagues and embedding best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and automate DevOps strategies for deploying APIs, web apps, and services on Azure.
Manage Azure infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
Work with developers, testers, and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery.
Lead documentation and continuous improvement of DevOps processes.
Stay current with Azure DevOps features and apply enhancements.
Support stakeholder management and challenge delivery scope where needed.
Challenge colleagues and contribute to organisational capability development.
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience through technology.
Promote company values and drive standards across teams. About You

Strong experience in Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure management.
Skilled in CI/CD, automation, and performance monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Passionate about continuous improvement and mentoring others.
