We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our client based around Dudley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a roll-off vehicle to transport waste and recycling materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to interact positively with customers while ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Operate roll-off vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

  • Load and unload containers at designated sites, ensuring proper handling of materials.

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and any discrepancies.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to waste transport.

  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.

    Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off or flatbed vehicles.

  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting waste materials.

  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.

  • Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.

    Requirements:

  • C licences

  • No DR or DD

  • No more than 6 Points

  • Experiences Ro- Ro recycling
