Big Data developer Dublin contract. My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced ETL Data Engineer to join them on a contract basis for 6-18 months with extensions.

The role encompasses the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, develop, document, test and deploy You will be: working in an agile team, delivering solutions to restructure, simplify and maintain data management, ETL and reporting processes.

Successful candidates will have effective collaboration and communication skills, Proactive, problem solving mindset. Experience in datacentric projects (banking/finance experience is a bonus). ProficientSQL and experience of working with large relational databases. Good knowledge of shell scripting, Experience of Big Data development essential (Hive, Impala, Spark). Programming experience in Java desirable but not development experience desirable but not essential (Tableau.MicroStrategy.Experience of planning, co-ordinating and driving delivery.Practical experience of data analysis and process analysis.Experience with Git PR reviews and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible. if this sounds like an interesting role drop me a CV so that we can speak in more detail
