    Key Responsibilities:
    Working as part of an Agile team participate in ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, demos and reporting.
    Utilise strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills to collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and Business Analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and technical specifications
    Ensure that appropriate automation tooling is implemented and utilised to meet business and technical needs.
    Design and implement automation test strategies and plans for SAS Viya 4 applications, for UI based Visual Analytics (VA) and Intelligent Decisioning (ID), as well as for integration testing of data pipelines.
    Develop and maintain test scripts using appropriate automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
    Confirm the test data strategy to be used
    Maintain and evolve the test automation suite to support regression, performance, and integration testing.
    Support the integration of test automation into Git-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test environments, including SAS Viya containerized deployments (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes).
    Contribute to test data management and environment provisioning strategies
    Ensure that appropriate defect management is undertaken
    Ensure results and progress are clearly articulated to relevant stakeholders.

    Essential Skills & Experience:
    Proven experience in:
    Working in a collaborative agile environment
    Test automation for data and analytics platforms, ideally including SAS Viya 4.
    Assuring the appropriate tool selection for both business and technical needs
    Setting the strategy and approach for both UI and System Integration based automation
    Knowledge of REST API's and testing API endpoints
    Scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages and associated frameworks
    Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab).
    Data Management and profiling
    Setting test direction for the automation team
    Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management skills
    Strong Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    Preferred Experience:
    Familiarity with SAS Viya architecture and components (VA, ID, CAS etc)
    Understanding of containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
