Join a Dynamic Team as a Bagging Operative

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated bagging operative to join our team in Leeds (LS10). This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential to secure a permanent role upon successful completion of the probationary period.

    Shift Schedule

  • During Training: 08:00 AM-17:00 PM, Monday to Friday

    Key Responsibilities

  • Fill large containers with powdered glass product

  • Perform accurate weighing of containers

  • Apply seals to containers to ensure product integrity

  • Label and load containers for onward transportation

  • Contribute to general production tasks and maintain a clean and organized workspace

  • Pack products safely and efficiently into appropriate packaging

  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards

  • Report any faulty packaging or machine malfunctions to relevant managers

  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations and protocols in the packaging area

  • Complete all required documentation related to packaging and machine maintenance

    Essential Skills

  • Thorough understanding of health and safety standards and procedures

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality

  • Punctuality and reliability to ensure efficient workflow

    Desirable Experience

  • Prior experience working in a production environment

    Training Provided

  • Full training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to handle the bagging duties
