AI Automation Delivery Manager** (Contract)

Duration: Up until 31 March 2026 (Possibility for extension)

Location: London/Hybrid (3 days on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project / Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of innovative technology projects including test automation, AI-enhanced document processing, and cloud-based transformation initiatives using UiPath and other intelligent automation tools.

The suitable candidate should possess expertise in automation, AI technologies, SaaS delivery, and cloud migration within regulated financial environments. In addition, they will be responsible for internal assessments and approvals as part of the delivery process, ensuring successful project execution and alignment with organisational goals.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of AI and Automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
Ensure compliance with internal assessment and approval processes and manage stakeholder expectations.
Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive experience in project or delivery management, preferably in financial services.
Experience delivering SaaS solutions and managing cloud migration projects.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in automation contexts.
Strong understanding of AI and Automation technologies and their applications.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
Proficiency in RAID management, project scheduling, and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
