Systems Implementation Engineer - International Travel

Systems Implementation Engineer urgently required by a global fast growing security solutions provider based in Basingstoke. The company deliver future proof government programs working with customers across the globe.

The Systems Implementation Engineer will provide technical support focused on the development and implementation of customer applications and products, both remotely and on-site.

Please note, this role does involve international travel around 40% of the time for customer implementations. Please do not apply to this position if you are not happy with frequent worldwide travel.

Essential experience:

At least 3 years' experience in a similar Implementation focused role
Configuring operating systems to support enterprise applications and services
Strong knowledge of Servers and network administration
Virtualization technologies such as: Hyper-V, VMware etc
System security and compliance best practices
Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc
Strong customer facing experienceExperience in the following is not required but would be beneficial:

Containerisation - Docker and Kubernetes
Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, SQL etc
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VMware (VCP), CCNA, CCMPThe companies office is based in Basingstoke, and the expectation is that this person will work hybrid from the office around 3 days a week when not travelling internationally.
