SQL Server Developer

Location: Home Based / 1 day per month in Oxford

Salary: Circa 75k – 90k + Bonus + Benefits

SQL Server Developer required by required by a well-established, fast-growing Top Tech company!

This is a varied, technically challenging role centred on designing, optimising and maintaining high-performance SQL Server database solutions that support mission-critical systems. You will own database performance end-to-end, partnering with software engineering and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, reliable platforms across the estate

  • Strong hands-on SQL Server expertise (SQL Server 2016 or later)

  • Advanced T-SQL development (stored procedures, functions, views, triggers)

  • Proven database performance tuning and optimisation capability

  • Deep understanding of indexing, concurrency, locking and execution plans

  • Experience with SSIS and high-volume, highly available database environments

  • Solid experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

  • Excellent communication skills working within cross-functional engineering teams
