What does this role involve?

As a Software Engineer at Procode, you'll be responsible for writing clean, structured, and reusable code.

You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of a wide range of bespoke applications, mobile apps, websites, APIs, and databases that power our business.

Some of this software is customer-facing-our digital "shop window"-while other tools support our internal teams.

You'll be working with AWS on the back end .

You'll be working closely with the design team and taking designs and turning into working code.

Who are we looking for?

Your passion for programming and current skills in React and TypeScript to produce structured and reusable code, will key to success in this role.

Your experience of how these fit with back-end technologies using technologies such as Redux Toolkit, JSON, HTTP, and REST APIs will allow you to swiftly understand where your data is coming from and how to access it.

Your problem-solving skills will allow you to take on challenges, work through these in a logical manner and provide solutions.

While not essential, experience with technologies like React Native, Victory Charts, Python, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, TDD, Figma and CI/CD will broaden the scope of the projects you can work on and open-up more technically complex opportunities .

This role will involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7)

To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.

This role may also require occasional travel to Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.
