Uneek have partnered with a leading energy company who provide cutting-edge cleantech solutions in their search for a Senior SDET to join their team, their mission is to help utilities transition to a more sustainable, customer-focused future.

As a Senior SDET specialising in Java and Selenium, you’ll play a key role in building enterprise-level automated testing solutions for complex platforms in the utilities sector. You’ll design and maintain robust test frameworks, integrate QA from day one in Agile sprints, and drive best practices across their SDLC.

Key requirements:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated Java test frameworks for APIs, web services, and large-scale enterprise apps.

  • Build and manage Selenium WebDriver test suites with Cucumber and BDD.

  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, embedding automation into every stage.

  • Conduct performance testing with JMeter.

  • Test REST/SOAP APIs and microservices, ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other engineers to deliver quality at speed.

  • Mentor junior testers and encourage a culture of excellence.

    You’ll need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in test automation with Java as your primary language.

  • Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and BDD practices.

  • Proven experience in CI/CD automation using Jenkins.

  • Performance testing skills with JMeter.

  • Experience in testing APIs (REST/SOAP) and microservices.

  • AWS knowledge and SQL/database experience.

  • A collaborative, detail-focused, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
