Senior Software Engineer - Backend

£60,000 - £80,000 roughly + bonus

What you'll be doing:

Drive high standards of code quality, documentation, and engineering practices.
Mentor other engineers and uplift the team's technical capabilities.
Own technical decisions, contribute to architectural discussions, and lead by example.
Help teams reduce technical debt, improve testing and embed security at the core of development.
Work with modern tools and cloud technologies to build scalable, robust backend services.
Champion agile values and DevOps culture across cross-functional teams.

What you'll bring:

Expertise in C#, .NET Core, .NET 8, SQL, Cosmos DB, and proficiency in Azure and Kubernetes.
A deep understanding of agile software development and engineering best practices.
A passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
The ability to think bigger picture while keeping an eye on technical detail.
A self-motivated, solution-oriented mindset.
Experience working with large, complex systems in fast-paced environments.
