Senior Project Manager - Software Development
Gateshead | Up to £65,000 | Hybrid Working (min 2 days)

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for software development and a knack for keeping complex projects on track? We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior PM to join a growing team in Gateshead.

What's the role?
You'll be leading the charge on a range of exciting software projects, working closely with developers, QA, stakeholders (internal and external), and clients to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You'll be the glue that holds everything together - from sprint planning to stakeholder updates, you'll make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience managing software development projects (agile, waterfall, or hybrid)
Strong leadership and communication skills
A cool head under pressure and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Experience working in regulated environments (financial services, energy, etc.) is a big plus
Prince 2 Practitioner or APM PPQ/PMI or PMP
Agile Certification such as CSM or AgilePM
Awareness of ITIL would be highly advantageous
Proven experience with Azure DevOps
Based within commuting distance of Gateshead - we offer hybrid working, but expect our teams working together in the office 2 days per week.Benefits
