Tank have been engaged to recruit for a Test Analyst with strong automation knowledge.

This role is an initial 3 month contract Inside IR35.

Active SC Clearence is required.

Core Duties:

Build, enhance, and support a robust Java-driven automated regression test framework with a focus on performance and long-term stability.

Create and run automated test cases for web applications using Selenium-based solutions.

Work closely with quality assurance, product, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical outcomes.

Investigate, diagnose, and fix issues across applications and automation suites in a timely manner.

Contribute to peer code reviews, testing activities, and technical documentation in line with internal guidelines.

Stay informed on advancements in Java development, Oracle ecosystems, and test automation tools.

Apply security, data protection, and regulatory standards in accordance with Oracle and wider industry requirements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

At least three years of professional experience working with Java in large-scale or enterprise environments.

A minimum of two years' experience developing automated web tests using Selenium or similar frameworks.

Strong background in functional testing methodologies.

Practical experience with API testing and automation techniques.

Familiarity with development and CI/CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and Git.

Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile delivery models.

Proven ability to work proactively, collaborate effectively, and operate independently when required.

Demonstrated capability to spot inefficiencies in processes and propose practical improvements.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.

Holds a valid UK passport
