Job Title: Software Engineer (Salesforce-focused)

Location: Hybrid (Central London office 1-2 days/week)
Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

We're looking for a Salesforce-focused Software Engineer to join our small, high-performing development team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll work closely with our Tech Lead, another Software Engineer, and the Customer Service & Product Executive. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining our technology stack, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, secure microservices supporting 100k+ donations and £65M+ annually.
Lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce platform, supporting core business processes like charity campaign applications and management.
Contribute to the implementation of our tech strategy and help shape the future of match funding technology.
Improve and maintain existing codebases, including unit testing, regression testing, and load testing.
Design and implement new features and functionality across the stack.
Provide occasional IT support to the wider team.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience (2+ years):

Salesforce backend and administration (Apex, SOQL, data modelling, declarative processes)
Salesforce frontend development (especially Lightning Web Components - LWC)Desirable Experience:

Infrastructure and load testing (Docker, CI, Terraform, AWS, MySQL, Node.js, Artillery)
Automated end-to-end testing (Webdriver.io, BDD)
PHP (especially Slim and/or Symfony frameworks)
Web frontend (Angular, TypeScript, SCSS, Web Components)

Comfortable working in an Agile environment
