Due to continued investment, this world-renowned business is currently in the midst of a huge recruitment drive and is looking for 3 Principal Software Engineers to join their growing team on a 6 month contract.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to work with a true leader on some of the biggest challenges and most advanced technologies in the industry.

The Role

Within the role of Principal Software Engineer (Rust), you'll be responsible for:

  • Development of INTeACT software under an Agile (DevSecOps) methodology
  • Testing of software at unit level
  • Working as part of a SCRUM team, engaging in daily stand ups and retrospectives

    In addition, you will also be liaising with Software Design team and INTeACT Product Owner to agree and shape the software and there will be some opportunity for customer interaction to showcase and shape software.

    You

    To succeed within the role of Principal Software Engineer, you'll ideally have the following skills:

  • Relevant IT degree or business degree, experience in similar role.
  • Software development skills in Rust
  • Practical experience of developing software using a cloud-based development environment following an agile methodology

    In addition, you should also have hands on knowledge of UML and Enterprise Architect and familiarity with common software development concepts including virtualisation, automated testing, CI/CD techniques, and configuration control.

    Please note that due to security nature of this role, we can only consider those who have lived in the UK in the last 5 years and is eligible for SC security clearance.
