We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Lead Developer to motivate and manage a skilled development team, keeping focus high and ensuring top-tier technical delivery.
You'll set the standard, leading from the front and taking full accountability for the team's performance.

Lead, inspire and deliver:

Lead and motivate a small development team, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
Drive the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems.
Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support of containerized environments.
Work with high-performance Linux servers, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Participate in an on-call rotation, resolving production issues when needed.
Tools and experience you’ll need to bring to this Senior Software Engineer role:

7+ years’ experience in software engineering, including 2+ years leading teams.
Strong coding expertise in Perl (or a willingness to master it fast), alongside Python, Node.js, and other high-level languages.
Deep Linux system administration skills, including scripting (Bash, Perl, Python).
Hands-on experience with Docker, MySQL, networking (BGP, OSPF), and security best practices.
A strategic mindset—able to solve complex problems, improve processes, and deliver results.
Excellent communication skills, engaging effectively in technical discussions.
Confidence in root cause analysis and debugging challenging issues.This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to London.
