PAM ENGINEER

MUST BE SC ELIGIBLE

Hands-on Engineer; configuration, problem-solving and finding solutions to CyberArk issues impacting projects, in addition to consulting.

CyberArk Privilege Cloud experience as a core. On-premise CyberArk experience also as a bonus, particularly IN CNI.
Writing/maintaining PAM SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
PAM CyberArk unit testing, end user engagement testing and contribution to test cases. scripts, before Go-Live's.
Experience of regulatory compliance for PAM. Experience of configuration to PAM Policy and PAM standard.
Core Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation:

Developing and implementing PAM solutions, including defining and enforcing access policies and procedures.
System Administration:
Managing and maintaining PAM systems and infrastructure, such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar platforms.
Integration:
Integrating PAM solutions with various applications and systems, including cloud environments.
Monitoring and Alerting:
Setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to unauthorized access attempts.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing and resolving issues related to PAM systems and access.
Documentation:
Creating and maintaining documentation for PAM processes, procedures, and configurations.
Security Advisor:
Serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on PAM-related security matters.Key Skills and Experience:

CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar PAM solutions: Experience with implementing and managing PAM platforms.
Identity and Access Management (IAM): Understanding of IAM concepts and principles.
Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
Networking: Understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
Security: Knowledge of security best practices and threat mitigation.
Scripting/Automation: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Considerations:
Cloud Security: Increasingly, PAM engineers are involved in securing access to cloud environments.
Non-Human Identity (NHI) Management: Managing access for automated systems and applications.
Integration with other security tools: Integrating PAM with other security solutions, such as SIEM and SOAR platforms.
Compliance: Understanding and adherence to relevant security and compliance regulations.
Teamwork and Collaboration: PAM engineers often work as part of a larger security team
