Job Specification - Ground Floor Production Assistant - Packing

Looking to make your mark? As a Production Assistant in the dynamic fragrance industry,
why not help achieve our leading fragrance solutions? Guided by a Supervisor, you will carry out production support activities to the highest industry standards. You will transport finished goods ingredients and supply empty packaging from external storage areas to the shop floor for all internal and external requests to service the requirements of our customers, in line with the departmental targets.

Core responsibilities

Palletisation and transport of finished goods
Replenishment of large packaging items from external storage areas (pallets, drums, IBCs)
Cleaning and replenishment of filters, funnels and pots used in the packing process
Preparation of drums and labels for large multipack orders
Handle materials and containers in a safe and timely manner and according to predefined process instructions to meet specific quality and EHS standards
Able to troubleshoot basic problems independently and provide recommendations for correction
Maintain neat, orderly and clean shop floor and workplace at all times and complete all sanitation and housekeeping duties as required
Follow 5S, GMP and EHS ground rules
Manual handling up to 25kgs
Safe use of manual handling equipment such as FLT counterbalance, stacker and pallet trucks
Key skills required for the role

Proven literacy and numeracy skills
IT proficient
Ability to build strong peer relationships and work as part of a team and individually
