Modern Workplace Team Leader
Location: Hybrid – Group Support, Lichfield
Hours: 37.5 per week
Reporting to: Head of Infrastructure and Services

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
As our Modern Workplace Team Leader, you will:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Modern Workplace Specialists.
Oversee and optimise Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
Own escalations for complex technical Modern Workplace issues.
Deliver modernisation projects including migrations, deployments and upgrades.
Drive adoption of collaboration tools and modern ways of working.
Manage device and endpoint solutions using Intune, Autopilot, Samsung Knox and Apple Business Manager.
Embed best practice across cloud security, governance and compliance.
Work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that add real business value.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement across the team.
🧩 Technical Skills You’ll Need
We’re looking for someone with strong hands‑on experience across Modern Workplace technologies. You should bring:
Microsoft 365 & Cloud Technologies

Advanced administration of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
Strong experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, security configurations and identity management.
Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, compliance, data loss prevention and governance frameworks.Endpoint & Device Management

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and MDM/MAM policies.
Experience managing Windows, iOS and Android devices.
Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and Samsung Knox.Security & Compliance

Understanding of cloud security principles, conditional access, MFA policies and Zero Trust approaches.
Experience working within regulated environments (care sector experience desirable).Scripting, Automation & Integration

Ability to automate processes using PowerShell.
Experience integrating Microsoft 365 services with wider enterprise systems.Collaboration & Productivity Tools

Expertise in Teams configuration, governance, call/meeting policies and integrations.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint site administration, permissions and structure design.Networking & Infrastructure Awareness

Understanding of networking basics (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing) within enterprise environments.
