About the Role:
As an IT Software Technician, you will support systems engineers and collaborate with the wider team on the development and integration of software projects. Involved throughout the full development lifecycle, you'll gain hands on experience with enterprise grade networks, system architecture and cloud computing.

What You’ll Do:
Application & System Development: Design, test and deploy robust applications and systems that align with organisational requirements and standards.

IT Security & Maintenance: Support the upkeep of secure and compliant IT solutions, helping to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.

Technology Research & Innovation: Research, evaluate and advise on emerging technologies to support continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation.

Collaborative Working: Liaise with internal teams to understand user needs and contribute to the successful delivery of projects and services.

What You’ll Bring:
IT Infrastructure & Networking: Good knowledge of IT hardware, networking technologies and enterprise tools such as Active Directory, RRAS and VPN.

Web & Software Development: Experience with PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.

Databases & Cloud Technologies: Basic understanding of SQL, MySQL, MongoDB and exposure to cloud solutions such as Zoho, ServiceNow, Azure and Power BI.

Learning & Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks, with a proactive attitude toward personal development.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve software and technical issues efficiently.

Communication & Documentation: Confident communicator with experience leading user interactions and producing clear technical documentation to maintain accurate system documentation, reports and outputs to support operations, audits and informed decision-making.
