Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer for our client which is a global technology company. You will ensure seamless office IT operations, provide end-user support, and maintain critical infrastructure including networks, servers, and security systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, a customer-centric approach, and collaboration with global IT teams to meet company security and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions for local offices, encompassing:

  • Provide support for cloud and local server based business critical systems and software including MES and security systems

  • Implement and maintain secure hybrid cloud architectures bridging on-premise and cloud environments

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues in cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure environments

  • Design and manage network solutions including: MPLS and VPN configurations (Multi-VRF/IPsec), WAN/LAN architecture and wireless networks (AC/AP), Firewall configuration and management

  • Troubleshoot advanced network issues (routing, switching, VoIP)

  • Deploy and maintain: Windows/Linux server environments, Virtualization platforms, Storage solutions and backup systems, VoIP and video conference systems.

  • Implement and manage: Endpoint protection solutions (antivirus/encryption), Patch management systems, Two-factor authentication infrastructure.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies

  • Provide desktop support (in-person/remote) for employees, including VIPs.

  • Support onboarding/offboarding (system deployment, IT inductions).

  • Conduct IT training and maintain support documentation.

  • Perform O&M for industrial PCs (production line support, backups, fault resolution).

  • Maintain door access/CCTV systems and video conferencing equipment.

  • Participate in after-hours/Weekend support (remote or onsite).

  • Ensure IT environments comply with company global security policies.

  • Work with global IT teams to innovate solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Manage asset lifecycle (inventory, audits, decommissioning).

    Person Specification:

    Required:

  • 3+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure (Wintel/Networking).

  • Advanced networking knowledge: Routing/switching (CCNA or equivalent).

  • Microsoft certifications preferred (Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019).

  • Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), VoIP, video conferencing.

  • Endpoint security (encryption/patching/2FA).

  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work after-hours/weekends.

    Desired:

  • CCNP, MCSE, or other relevant certifications.

  • Experience with AxiomV door control systems.

  • MES software experience
