Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for an HMI Project Planner to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £35.29 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and communicate timing requirements to the HMI HF Team and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with delivery and integration departments across to align departmental planning with programme needs.
Use JIRA and Confluence to plan, track, and communicate project progress and updates.
Develop and adjust departmental work plans based on programme timing and late-stage changes.
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and changes to internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure the team has the necessary resources and information to execute plans effectively.
Coordinate with HMI teams across AAD, China, and Portland to align with spec releases and share planning insights.
Track and report on project status, identifying and resolving obstacles to timely delivery.
Lead large projects or processes with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and maintain Agile project plans, sprint schedules, and release roadmaps.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to define scope and priorities.
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and capacity forecasting.
Monitor progress using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and adjust plans as needed.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, velocity, and resource utilization.
Support continuous improvement by analyzing metrics and recommending process enhancements.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:

Proven experience working within Agile frameworks and methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to plan for sizable teams in complex organisational structures.
Background in delivering technical products collaboratively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and communicate across all levels.
Operate with precision and professionalism in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.
Proficiency in Agile planning tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
