We are looking for HGV Class 2 RoRo Drivers to join our client's Team for an immediate start in a permanent position.

Driver Hire, the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company have been engaged by a major European company to recruit their HGV Class 2 RoRo Drivers. Based in Manchester, delivering and collecting RORO containers from Tips and recycling centres back to the depot

  • £14.40 per hour for first 40 hours, rising to time and a half for any subsequent hours.

  • NO MANUAL HANDLING

  • Monday – Friday with the option to work weekends.

  • 28-Days holiday

  • Contributory pension scheme

  • Professional PPE and Uniform provided.

  • Permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

    Starting from 0430am up to 0600am depending on work load. Possible 10 hour shifts. EXPERIENCE NOT ESSENTIAL as full training will be provided

    Our client is looking for a HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver to take a full time Temp to Perm role.

    ​HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver will need:

  • Experience as a driver collecting goods? That’s a plus, but not essential.

  • A valid driving licence (Category C) – with no more than 6 penalty points.

  • Category C Class 2 Licence held for a minimum of one year

    HGV Class 2 RoRo Driver Duties will include:

  • Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws

  • Conducting required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.

  • Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress

  • Completing paperwork accurately as instructed

  • Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner.

    We offer a true, honest, and personal service and you will deal directly with the business owner. Plus, attractive rate of pay PLUS, regular overtime, paid weekly via PAYE
