Multi-Site Management For A Business With Exponential Growth

Taking Ownership Of The Logistics Function

Overseeing the whole logistics department, you'll cover the B2C Operation, inbound containers, as well as the daily operations within the Warehouse function.

  • Managing 3PL relationships to ensure smooth transition of goods to sites.
  • Improving Operational efficiencies to improve profitability whilst also raising service levels, OTIF will be a key metric you will be working towards.
  • Driving profitability by reducing costs and working towards the targets set by your Director.
  • Accommodating growth, whether it's the development of existing teams or growing the existing ones, ensuring high levels of staff retention and development will be essential.

    Shaping The Future For Your Employer

    This is a brand new role to the business that needs someone to oversee their 2 warehouses, 1 in Lincolnshire and the other in Buckinghamshire. With a strong management team reporting into you, you will be leading this Operational division, writing the playbook on what great looks like.

    You won't need to conform to existing boxes about what the position will manage, as you will be the one writing them, leading the way and making substantial changes to how the logistics function runs.

    What Makes You A Great Fit?

  • Previously Logistics Management with a preference for multi-site management being beneficial.
  • An understanding of B2C transport will be key, although there is no HGV fleet, the employer does have a substantial LGV fleet.
  • A background in Food, FMCG or Retail is going to be key to understanding the fast-paced nature and potential seasonality of the goods.
  • The ability to develop the skills and performance of your team from management down to the shop floor
