Salary: To £95,000 plus excellent package
Location: Walsall, West Midlands UK
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Strategy: Define and implement the technical vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends
Architecture & Scalability: Design and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture for our Salesforce-based solutions
Engineering Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team 60+ across UK and India, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation
Manage the delivery of the product & technical roadmap consistent with SDLC and Agile processes across the team
Agile & DevSecOps: Champion modern engineering practices, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps
Financial management and cost control: Ensure clear accountabilities for budgets for tools and people across the engineering estate
AI & Emerging Tech: Drive research and adoption of AI-powered solutions, automation, and other emerging technologies within our product roadmap
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product management, customer service, and leadership teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and quality standards relevant to our industry
Where appropriate identify and recommend external partners for the delivery of best-in-class technologies suitable for client applications
What You’ll Need:

Experience:

Experience managing international Software Development and Testing teams to deliver software that meets the needs of users, ideally within a Salesforce business
Expertise in Salesforce development, architecture, and ecosystem
Strong knowledge of scalable SaaS architectures, API design, and cloud-native technologies
Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams in an agile environment
Proven experience in developing standards and process improvement
A record of Implementing mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software development activities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Skills:

Salesforce development and ecosystem
Prince2, PMBoK or AgilePM qualifications
ScrumMaster or Product Owner experience
Agile DSDM or Scrum exposure
