Front End React Developer, React, JavaScript, Cambridge to £75K (Hybrid)

A leading tech software company are looking for a great Front End React Developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows, specifically Redux and RTK. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

  • Working in a team of Front-End engineers

  • Writing clear & concise code

  • Working closely with Back-End engineers

  • Participate in architecture design + code reviews

  • API design with the Back-End engineers and other team members to establish more functional, cohesive code

  • Create, maintain documentation while implementing the best coding practices + standards

  • Hands-on approach

  • Participation in sprint rituals

    What you’ll need

  • 6+ years experience developing large-scale web applications

  • Experience working in an agile environment

  • Strong experience with React, Redux, Typescript

  • Experience with Redux Toolkit, Material UI, Material UI theming

  • Extensive experience using build tools (VITE, Next.js, webpack etc)

  • Extensive experience using linting tools (eslint, prettier etc)

  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git

  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

    What would be good to have

  • Experience with Azure DevOps

  • Experience with Postman

  • Experience using Redux Toolkit Query
