Contract Length: 12 weeks- Temporary initially opportunity for Permanent

Pay Rate: £14.68 Per hour

Working Hours: 8am-4pm (35-40 hours per week)

5 days over 7 on a set rota

Job and finish: Flexibility is required

Join a fast-paced distribution centre as a reach forklift driver!

Main duties:

  • To safely operate a forklift reach truck in a warehouse or industrial setting to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise or materials efficiently and accurately.

  • Operate a reach truck forklift to move pallets and materials in and out of racking systems.

  • Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or shipping containers.

  • Store products in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring correct stacking and inventory practices.

  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and warehouse protocols.

  • Use scanners, inventory systems, or paperwork to track stock movements.

  • Support general warehouse duties when required (e.g., packing, labelling, manual handling).

  • Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently

  • Handling heavy lifting as part of the job

  • Working as part of a supportive team

    Key Skills:

  • Must have reach forklift licence and previous experience.

  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

  • Being able to prioritise tasks and stay organised.

  • Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly.

  • Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern

  • Good attention to detail

  • Previous warehouse experience
