Our client, a pioneering leader in the SatComm sector, is currently seeking an Embedded Software Quality Engineer to join their rapidly growing UK team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to engage in high-quality software projects for satellite communications, pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation in space exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring software quality standards in space-related projects
Defining and implementing software product assurance strategies
Integrating product assurance strategies within the implementation team
Presenting product assurance plans and reports to customers
Assessing adherence to required quality assurance standards (e.g., ECSS-Q-ST-10C, DO-178B, AS9115)
Developing quality-related automated tests and pipelines

Job Requirements:

Experience in software quality, software testing, and quality assurance
Familiarity with software quality/product assurance standards (e.g., ECSS-Q-ST-10C, DO-178B, AS9115)
Proficiency in using static analysis tools (e.g., CPPCheck, Lint, SonarQube, Helix QAC)
Experience with code coverage tools (e.g., GCOV, LCOV, LDRA, Vector Cast)
Integration with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins)
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
Understanding of testing/QA best practices and standards
Experience using issue management tools like Jira or Redmine
