This company are one of the biggest and most successful businesses within their niche FinTech market space and have massive plans to build brand new Tech, Data & Delivery teams in 2025. This has come off the back of a hugely successful 10+ years where they have established themselves in multiple countries and picked up numerous awards within the industry.

They partner with some of the biggest global FinTech companies and process lots of different data variants across the industry. They are looking for a Director of Backend Development to lead a 200+ team to enhace their backend capabilities & platforms, where they develop applications using Python, Golang or Java. They are looking for experience, a varied set of skills and technologies and desire to keep learning. You will be heading up the entire backend operation and need to have experience leading at least 100+ teams in the past!

This role is fully remote although they have a number of offices across Europe if you wanted to relocate. They are also looking for people with Russian & English language skills which will help bridge the communication gap across various global teams. Relocation packages of up to $10k can be offered.

Role Responsibilities:

10+ years backend development experience.
5+ years experience in technical & people leadership.
Confident leading large teams of up to at least 100.
Essentials: Python OR Golang OR Java, Linux, AWS, RestAPIs.
Can be a specialist in either one of Python, Golang or Java. No need to have all 3.
Additional: Kubernetes, Node, Gitlab, SQL, DevOps.
Good collaboration skills and ability to work across global teams.
Excellent experience in leading projects in developing backend applications.
Confident Russian & English language skills.
They sponsor and provide VISA support.
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000
