DevOps - Full Stack Engineer
Hybrid working (60% office - 40% remote)
7 Month contract initially, good scope for extension
£450 - £475 P/D (Umbrella-PAYE)

One of our blue chip clients are looking for a DevOps - Full Stack Engineer to join the team on a long term programme of work.

Key Responsibilities:
Solid experience of experience in CI/CD
Advanced knowledge and experience using CloudBees Jenkins (Installation, configuration and administration) Experience of Cloud Platforms specifically Google Cloud Platform and interacting with Cloud Storage, Big Query and Cloud Logging Container orchestration with K8s, with on one or more of GKE, AKS, EKS, and experience with container management tooling.
Strong experience in development of Object-Oriented code (such as Python and Groovy and shell scripting) Strong experience with declarative Jenkins pipeline development Designing branching strategies for declarative pipeline management.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana Strong experience with DevOps release principles Experience of problem management and incident support Experience leading a pod Experience of assisting with the grooming and handling of a product backlog Desire to help improve others within the team and contribute towards their career development.
Familiarity with agile scrum processes
Cost optimization design for solutions
Experience with core technical integrations with security and change management tooling such as SNOW, SAST/DAST tooling.
Strong communicator and being able to interact with a range of stakeholders such as engineering teams and senior management.

  • Git (particularly GitHub) <br />
  • Java / Kotlin <br />
  • JavaScript <br />
  • Python <br />
  • Shell Scripting <br />
  • knowledge of Jenkins, (CloudBees would be added advantage)<br />
  • Test-driven development <br />
  • Architectural and design patterns <br />
  • Troubleshooting skills <br />
  • Working in an agile, cross-functional team<br />
