SC Cleared DevOps Engineer - London (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite) - £90,000 per annum - Active SC Clearance required.

Overview:
We are supporting a leading Defence & Aerospace organisation in their search for a permanent SC Cleared DevOps Engineer to join their high-performing technology team in London. This is a crucial role supporting secure, mission-critical systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and modern DevOps practices. The position requires 2 days a week in the London office and offers a competitive salary of up to £90,000.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Azure infrastructure in support of defence projects.
Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure delivery.
Collaborate with software, infrastructure, and cyber security teams to ensure resilient, compliant deployments.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
Automate operational tasks and continuously improve system performance and security posture.
Troubleshoot issues across development, test, and production environments.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Strong infrastructure background – deep understanding of networking, security, virtualisation, and compute/storage architecture.
Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including native services and resource management.
Expertise in DevOps tools and processes, particularly:
CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
Scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
Monitoring and alerting tools within Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
Experience in delivering within secure or regulated environments (e.g., MOD, defence, aerospace).
