Apply the latest .NET technologies towards security and defence

No defence experience is required for this interesting lead role which makes use of the latest in .NET technologies including Blazor and MAUI. The company work on security applications, using signals and spectral data, hardware and software – think physics rather than cybersec.

You’ll take on the principal role in this new team, and as it grows will step in to take the lead, whilst remaining hands-on. You’ll define and align the roadmap, manage the backlog, plan and execute to release. As future colleagues join you’ll provide technical mentoring, guidance and support.

The following experience is core to the role:

  • Lead developer responsibility for C# server-side applications in production, using Agile methods

  • The ability to find elegant, sometimes creative solutions to complex technical challenges

  • C# and ideally .NET Core, otherwise .NET Framework

  • ASP.NET MVC, RESTful web services, EF Core – along with modern JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

  • Linux, Docker, Postgres / SQL Server

    Experience with MAUI, web assemblies (WASM) and Blazor – including Blazor server-side rendering (SSR), Blazor UI component libraries, and the MAUI Blazor Hybrid approach – would be beneficial.

    Other useful technologies include MS Identity, SignalR, protobuf, Nginx, Git and Jira. Any prior work in the radio frequency (RF) space is helpful. Hybrid working allows up to 2 days per week from home. UK residence, and unrestricted work permission without sponsorship, are required.
