Senior React Native Developer - Mobile Apps & Web

Dublin (Hybrid) or Remote within Ireland
12 Month Contract with Potential Extension | Immediate Start
Payrate: £495/day PAYE - £657/day Umbrella

We're hiring a Senior React Native Developer to join a fast-paced, high-impact mobile development project focused on delivering robust, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications and web experiences. You'll be working in a team responsible for managing a national-level mobile app, and you'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge features with performance and security at the core.

If you're passionate about mobile development and have a strong foundation in React Native, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and native debugging, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile apps and responsive web solutions using React Native and TypeScript
Tune app performance and debug across iOS (Xcode) and Android (Gradle) platforms
Work with D3.js to create custom SVG visualizations
Embed local and remote web content in React Native applications
Patch JavaScript and native code to address version upgrade issues
Build components in isolation using Storybook
Implement accessible, responsive Flexbox layouts and pass accessibility audits
Integrate frontend with authentication providers (e.g., Azure B2C / OAuth)
Collaborate closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs from Figma, using design tokens and shared component libraries
Conduct unit testing and use Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD processes

Deep Technical Knowledge

Token storage, biometric encryption, root detection
Web security models specific to mobile apps
Accessibility testing with VoiceOver, TalkBack, and Accessibility Inspector

Nice to Have

C# / .NET API development experience
Debugging backend applications via Azure App Insights
Experience with JMeter or similar tools for performance testing
Writing and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelinesWho We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in mobile/web development using React Native
Ability to lead junior developers or ready to grow into a leadership role
Strong problem-solving mindset with an eye for performance and security
Based in or near Dublin (preferred for hybrid working 2-3 days/week)
